We are a veteran owned and operated organic fertilizer company, in Tucson, Arizona. Our mission is to provide a 100% organic option to the public, to use on their plants, trees and gardens.
Vermicompost fertilizer is an organically produced nutrient rich soil amendment that is used to improve the overall growing conditions for all kinds of plants. This type of fertilizer improves biodiversity, soil aeration, and water retention. If is also a useful tool to help plants through stressful situations.
Our process begins with feeding our worms a 100% all organic diet that includes specific vitamins and minerals. This ensures that we start with the best quality vermicast possible. The vermicast is then liquified to produce high-quality products for our customers.
Vermicompost is composed of magnesium, phosphorus, calcium, nitrogen, and potassium.
Vermicompost can also be helpful in suppressing pests such as whiteflies, aphids, fruit flies, etc. The enzymes it contains, weakens, and destroys the exoskeleton of various insects, which repels the hard bodied insects.
Vermicompost contains anti-disease and antimicrobial chemicals that can aid in suppressing diseases like Phytophthora, Pythium, and Fusarium.
What is this magic juice? It makes my plants happy and that's all I know. I mix it with their liquid food and I feel like I'm doing good by them. The gnats aren't even coming around, I'm not sure if it's this love potion or a miracle, but I'll take it! I use it for my outdoor and indoor guys and I think you get a lot for the price, but quality over quantity for me any day! This is good stuff! (Jeffrey G)
I purchased item to improve the soil for my houseplants. I have been using the solution every two weeks and have noticed an improvement in the color of the leaves in all my plants. Many thanks for providing an item that is difficult for me to purchase in my area. I will be purchasing Just Dirt again. There is a slight organic matter odor when I first water my plants but it dissipates by the end of the day. Tolerating the odor is worth it for the well being of my plants, the least I can do. OK, so it stinks. It's concentrated liquified worm poo, so what do you expect? I wear gloves when I'm mixing up a batch, and the smell goes away eventually. The good news is that tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash (anything you want to grow organically) don't care about the smell. We used to have problems with blight on our tomatoes, but since using this, we have had the healthiest plants with great production. Even in last summer's prolonged heat and humidity, our tomatoes never showed any sign of blight. It seems pricey at first, but a full gallon with last you a really long time. (Kevin)
When I had a fungus gnat problem from using cheap potting soil from a big box store. I applied Just Dirt and now all is well. The solution is very rich and has been very nourishing for my plants. They are thriving. It costs a little more but you can feel and see the quality. Plus the bottle is good quality, and sealed very well. Unlike soil products, you won't have to worry about bringing any unwanted gnats or other things into your home. (M Drubie)
I do have a green thumb (I promise) but my fig leaf plant and my money tree were practically dead and I wasn't sure what was wrong. I used this fertilizer (one application weekly) and I swear both have come back to life and have new growth when they literally lost all their leaves but one or two. I have not changed anything else so it has to be this fertilizer. I was nervous that it wasn't specialized enough for particular plants but that is not the case. A teeny bit goes a long way so no need to worry about it running out. I will 100% purchase this again. Very please with this product! (John B)
Good stuff! Made my miniature rose bush burst forth with way more buds and bright, beautiful blooms. I'm using it on my thornless raspberry (thriving) and thornless blackberry bushes ditto) as well as my tomatoes, which look better this summer than ever before in spite of the rainy, cool summer we've been having. The price is well worth it. It only takes a small amount in 1 gallon of water, so lasts a long time. (Megan)
My tomato plants got really wilted with the summer heat. I cut off all the dead parts and fed them the worm tea. They have recovered well and are putting out a lot of new growth. The plants wintered over so I got many tomatoes in early spring. Just ordered another bottle. (Kamila)
I'm not a professional by any means, just an ordinary guy that loves his lawn. Just Dirt is not the only product I use, but it's the only liquid fertilizer I've used. It's my go-to product especially in the hot summer months. It's has everything my lawn needs and works almost instantly because it's absorb through the lawn's foliage. It's super affordable and I highly recommend it! (Frank)
Works 1000% on my flowers and definitely works on my tomato plant and onion plant but still not too sure on how well it works on raspberries because I only have a small green branch on my newly planted sapling. The raspberries might take longer to see results for, but I’m sure once it starts flowering then this stuff will most definitely work well. Seems to work alright for my citrus trees (lemon and orange) and also it seems to work alright for my cactus plants (which surprised me). I have a regular column type cactus and then also dragon fruit cactus. Works well for my cat grass too. Pretty much does exactly what it’s says it does and then some. Strongly recommend this for almost any plant. (Felisa M)
